Modern industrial automated visual inspection models provide new methods and solutions in the industrial visual quality control applications.
In this research, we are building an automated visual inspection (AVI) model based on the normalized cross-correlation template matching algorithm and Deep ANN.
The main objective of our research is to detect the implementation challenges and provide guidelines for successful industrial application. The problem of vibrations in real industrial environments and our proposed solution that significantly improves model accuracy is also analyzed.
Our goal is to develop models that can outperform humans in the visual quality control process.
